Monica Törnell
Monica Kristina Ingeborg Törnell ( born June 3, 1954 in Trönö, Hälsingland ) is a Swedish pop-rock singer.
It was discovered in 1971 by Cornelis Vreeswijk, when she sang at a restaurant opening. Their debut album Ingica was still folk -heavy, their later albums were more rock. Along with the song writer Lasse Holm they won the Melodifestivalen in 1986 and was therefore entitled to take with him the Euro Vision Song Contest 1986. The rock hit E ' de' det här du kärlek kallar? Duo reached the fifth place.
