The Murdoch University is an Australian university in Perth, Western Australia ( West Coast), which was founded on July 25, 1973 Seventeenth University in Australia.

Overview

The University was founded as a university with a focus on research and to set up 20 different institutions. It is named after the Australian writer and scholar Sir Walter Murdoch ( 1874-1970 ).

The Murdoch campus, the oldest of the sites, is the headquarters of the University. The campus comprises 227 acres about 15 km south of the Perth central business district and is just a few kilometers from the port of Fremantle. The Peel campus, the southern campus of the University is just 80 km from the City of Perth Mandurah. The new building took until February 2005 to its operation and is now in the future offered by the University, especially in biomedicine, expand. The Rockingham campus is located 45 km south of the Perth central business district in the center of Rockingham. On this smaller campus located mainly in the disciplines of engineering facilities.
