Müschenbach is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hachenburg. Müschenbach is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geographical location

Müschenbach is located three kilometers from Hachenburg away at the " entrance " of the Kroppacher Switzerland at an altitude of 336 m. Hiking trails lead into the nearby valley of Nister and Abbey Marienstatt. History
