Winkelbach

Winkelbach is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hachenburg.

Geographical location

The community lies at approximately 300 m altitude in the Westerwald between Limburg and victories in top Wiedtal. East of the village flows the Wied. Neighboring towns are in the northwest Wahlrod, in the northeast and southwest Hattert and southern Höchstenbach and Welkenbach. The hamlet Krambergsmühle partly belongs to the municipality of Wied.
