Linden, Westerwaldkreis

Linden is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hachenburg.

Geographical location

The town is located north-northeast of Koblenz not far northeast of the Westerwald Lake between Hachenburg in the north - northwest and Westerburg in the southeast. The highest point of the municipality is the Wildenhahn ( 499 m above sea level. NN ), which rises approximately 650 m northwest of Linden. Just north of the village is the source of Wied ( an eastern tributary of the Rhine ), which Linden happened just east towards south or three-field ponds.
