The parliamentary election in Norway 1949 was held on 10 October 1949. It was the election for the 45th Storting.

The Socialist Workers Party gained four percentage points. The right to vote also led to a significant over-representation and secured the Labour Party a clear absolute majority. The Communist Party ( NKP ) lost despite a significant share of the vote, a 11 all seats.

Parliament sat only composed of five fractions.
