Oklahoma City Stars (ice hockey)

The Oklahoma City Stars were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

History

The owner of the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League in 1978 sold the team, which then the farm team of the Minnesota North Stars of the National Hockey League, was the renamed the team in Oklahoma City Stars. In the four seasons of existence, the team came after the two-time miss the playoffs for the Adams Cup in the following two seasons, not on the first playoff round addition. In the season 1981/82, the Oklahoma City Stars were the farm team of the NHL teams Calgary Flames. Then put the team a game operation.
