Phoenix Roadrunners (CHL)

The Phoenix Roadrunners were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League from Phoenix, Arizona.

History

The Phoenix Roadrunners took to season 1977/78 the game operating in the Central Hockey League on. They continued the tradition of the same franchises of the World Hockey Association. After the team reached only eleven points in 27 games, the team owners decided to prematurely withdraw the team on 12 December 1977 by the gaming operations of the CHL. Instead, they founded an eponymous team in the Pacific Hockey League.
