Colorado Flames
The Colorado Flames were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League in Denver, Colorado.
History
The Colorado Flames took to the 1982/83 season the game operating in the Central Hockey League on. The team was named after the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, their farm team she was. In their only two seasons they occupied under the Canadian coach Pierre Pagé the second and finally the first place after the regular season. In the playoffs for the Adams Cup they failed in their debut season in the first round at the Birmingham South Stars, where they lost in the best- of-seven series with 2:4 victories. Following the 1983/84 season the Central Hockey League was dissolved and the Colorado Flames stopped the game operation.
