Peeter Kümmel

Peeter Kümmel ( born April 11 1982 in Tartu, Estonian SSR then, Soviet Union) is an Estonian cross-country skier.

Life and career

Caraway's best result at the Junior World Championships 20th in the mass start competition was in 2002 in Schonach the 30 km classic, the his compatriot Aivar Rehemaa was surprising to decide for themselves. This allowed him to participate in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. There, however, he was able to confirm the benefits of the World Cup not quite and had to settle for 38th place.

In his best-ever season in 2006/ 07 Caraway ersprintete with the seventh and eighth in Rybinsk and Changchun two top ten finishes. At the end of the season he finished second in the sprint of the World Cup 25th place overall. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo cumin reached in the qualification of the sprint competition, although a time that would have given him for a place in the finals, but was like the Italian Renato Pasini disqualified because he had walked a few steps in the skating technique.
