Peter Houtman

Peter Houtman ( born June 4, 1957 in Rotterdam ) is a retired Dutch footballer.

After passing through the Youth Department of Feyenoord Rotterdam he was loaned for 1 year at FC Groningen, where he met 23 times in 32 games. In the following year at Feyenoord he met only 5 times in 15 games. The success was also in the following year at Club Brugge (15 games / 3 goals) from. Back at FC Groningen it ran better. Here he met 21 times in 40 games. This performance earned him a transfer to once again fall to his great love Feyenoord. In the following season, 1982/83 his career was at its peak. He became Europe's top scorer (30 goals in 32 games ) and won with his club Feyenoord the championship. In the two years that followed, he scored 42 goals in 64 games before he 1985/86 again played at FC Groningen, where he hit the net 26 times in 2 years in 45 games. His career then continued with little success continued abroad. For Sporting Lisbon ( 19 games / 3 goals) he had to go back after one season and was once again the way to his dream club Feyenoord. He is currently the announcer and youth coach at Feyenoord Rotterdam.
