Geographical Location

Post Münster is located in the region of Landshut in the valley of the Rott am Rottauensee in the Lower Bavarian hills. History

The place was probably due to an old Roman road that ran from Massing to the mouth of Rott. Around 1150 is mentioned to the witness Eckolf de Possenmunstiure for the first time a generation that took its name from Postmuenster.
