The Pride Park Stadium (usually just called Pride Park ) is a football stadium in the industrial area Pride Park on the outskirts of the city center of Derby in England. History

The Pride Park Stadium was completed in 1997 and replaced Derby County's previous stadium, the Baseball Ground, which was from 1894, home of the Rams. It was officially opened in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II on 18 July 1997; the first game was on 4 August 1997 lost a friendly match against Sampdoria, the derby 0-1.
