Royal League 2006–07

The Royal League 2006/ 07 was the third season of football competition for club teams and took place between 9 November 2006 and 15 March 2007. The winner in purely Danish final was the first time Brøndby IF that could prevail in the final with a 1-0 win over defending champions FC Copenhagen.

Mode

The twelve teams, four from the Danish Superliga, the Norwegian Tippeligaen, Swedish Fotbollsallsvenskan, were initially divided into three groups with return game against each other, the top two teams and the two-point and torbesten third place winners of each group were for the quarter-finals qualified, which was decided as well as the subsequent semi-final and final in a single game.

Average attendance

In the third season, the audience recovered compared to last year again. Average were 5139 spectators ( including the final ) to the games, which means an increase of 1203 spectators. In the countries of Denmark led with an average attendance of 6630 ( 176 ) per game with Sweden 4401 ( 1059 ) and Norway with 3057 ( 1654 ).
