Schärding District

The political district warping thing, as the lower region Innviertel, is a district in Innviertel in Upper Austria. It is bordered on the south by the district of Ried, on the east by the districts of Gries churches and Rohrbach, in the north and west by the Free State of Bavaria. Esternberg is the geographically largest municipality in the area.

History

The district was established in 1868. As part of the creation of the district Gries churches had to be delivered in 1906 the district court district Peuerbach. By the end of 2003, in the district of the court districts angel Hartzell, Raab and Schärding three judicial districts. Engelhartszell and Raab, however, were dissolved on January 1, 2003 and the related municipalities subject to the jurisdiction warping thing.

Administrative divisions

The district Schärding is divided into 30 municipalities, including with Schärding a city and nine market towns. The population figures are from January 1, 2013.
