Semenivka, Chernihiv Oblast

Semeniwka (Ukrainian Семенівка; Russian Семёновка / Semjonowka ) is a city in Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine, and the center of the same name Rajons with 8,200 inhabitants ( 2013).

For the municipality, the two southern villages Kuty Perschi include ( Кути Перші ) and Kuty Druhi ( Кути Другі ).

History

The settlement was founded here in 1680. 1953 Semeniwka received city rights.
