Swedish general election, 1964

The election to the Second Chamber of the Swedish Parliament in 1964 took place on 20 September. She brought only minor changes in voting behavior. With Tage Erlander, the Social Democrats continue to put the Prime Minister of a minority government. The second strongest force were again the Liberals.

Only the Conservatives suffered greater losses. Part of it went to the first Christian candidates that the catchment but clearly missed with 1.78 percent in the Reichstag.
