Tenaris

Tenaris S. A. is a mining company from Italy, with headquarters in Luxembourg. The company is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in the FTSE MIB. Tenaris is connected to the Argentine group Techint, which indirectly controls more than 60 % of the shares of the Company.

Tenaris produces steel of different grades. Its customers include customers in the automotive and petroleum industry, the power plant and pipeline.

Company History

The origins of the company date back to 1909, where the company Dalmine started to produce seamless steel pipes in Italy. Through mergers or strategic alliances with other companies was formed in 2001, the brand name Tenaris. The following year, the Tenaris was S. A. Founded and listed its shares on the stock exchanges of New York, Milan, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.
