Tvillingderbyt

The Tvillingderbyt ( German twin Derby) is the local derby between the two Swedish football teams AIK Solna and Djurgårdens IF.

Djurgårdens IF (abbreviated DIF) is in the eastern district of Djurgården ( German Tiergarten) capital Stockholm resident. The AIK Solna (in short: AIK) is located in the homonymous municipality in Stockholm County. The term twin Derby is because the two sports clubs were founded in the same year in February and March 1891. The football departments followed 1896 ( AIK) and 1899 (DIF ). Both clubs share a rivalry with the Hammarby IF (short: HIF ) in the Södermalm district in the south of the city. The Master of 2001 was required in 2009 in the Superettan, the second football league dismount.

The two biggest fan clubs, the Black Army ( German Black Army ) of the AIK and the Järnkaminerna ( The German iron stoves ) of the DIF, were founded in 1981, in a year. Most derbies were held in Råsundastadion. The followers of AIK had been its regular place on the North Stand behind the goal, whereas Djurgårdens fans occupied the South Stand.
