Ãœberackern
Überackern is a rural town in Upper Austria in the district of Braunau am Inn in Innviertel with 659 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The competent court is the district court district of Braunau am Inn.
Geography
Überackern is located on 356 m altitude in Innviertel near the Inn -Salzach - mouth, surrounded by extensive woodlands of Weilhart forest. The expansion is 8.6 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 6 km. The total area is 27 km ². 77.4 % of the area is forested, 14.8% of the area is used for agriculture.

Coat of arms
Official description of the municipality coat of arms: In a silver wave green bar; above a golden place, down a golden, querrechtshin asked key. The municipality colors are green and yellow.
The wave bar in 1990 conferred municipal coat of arms is the Salzach, Überackern is located at the right bank. History
Überackern and his parish have already been mentioned in a document from the period 748-788. Since the establishment of the Duchy of Bavaria, the place was Bavarian until 1779 and came to the Peace of Teschen with the Innviertel (then Innbaiern ) to Austria. During the Napoleonic Wars shortly Bavarian, it belongs since 1814 finally to Upper Austria. After the annexation of Austria to the German Reich on 13 March 1938, the village belonged to the Upper Danube. After 1945 the restoration of Upper Austria.
Policy
