Wilfried Dietrich

Wilfried Dietrich ( born October 14, 1933, Schiffer city; † June 2, 1992 in Durbanville, South Africa ) was a German wrestler and weightlifter.

Life

Wilfried Dietrich won in his career, 1951-1977 a total of 30 German Championships (individual title and team title with the VfK Schiffer city as well as with the ASV Mainz 1888).

Highlight of his career was the Olympic wrestler victory in free style Rome 1960. The following year, Dietrich confirmed this success by winning the world title in Yokohama.
