Worth is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and a member of the administrative community Hörlkofen.

Geography

Worth is located in the Munich region in the valley of Sempt between the county town of Erding and Markt Schwaben (each 8 km ) and 22 km west of Villages, 21 km south of Munich Airport, 23 km north of Ebersberg and around 33 km from the state capital of Munich removed.

There is only the district Wörth.

In addition, early in their districts Hörlkofen, Wifling, Hofsingelding, Lupperg, Kirchötting, Lower Wörth, Breitötting, Sun Village, Will Gruber, Oberau, Teufstetten and mountain.

History

Woerth was mentioned in the year 788 for the first time. The place belonged to Rentamt Landshut and Erding district court of the Electorate of Bavaria, landlords were until 1803 the bishops of Freising. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. 1978 formed the communities Worth and Walpertskirchen the administrative community Hörlkofen.

Railway

Through the community Wörth run the railways Munich - Mühldorf and Markt Schwaben - Erding. Each is a railway station on each track. The lying on the railway line to Mühldorf Hörlkofen station located in the district Hörlkofen and was taken to the track on May 1, 1871 in operation. Bus

The municipality is located in Wörth tariff area of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV). At the bus network of Verkehrsverbunds the community is connected by two bus lines. Line 445 runs from Ebersberg about Hohenlinden, Forstern, Pastetten, Hörlkofen and Worth to Erding. The bus only runs from Mantag to Friday every two hours. The other line is a Ruftaxi the MVVS with line number 5670. The line operates from Walpertskirchen over Worth to Erding. It operates only on Fridays and Saturdays.
