Zach Johnson
Zach Johnson ( born February 24, 1976 in Iowa City, Iowa) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR. It belongs to the group of Major winner because he won in 2007, the U.S. Masters.
Career
He grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and developed his golf game in the Elmcrest Country Club. After attending Drake University Johnson in 1998 professional golfer in the year.
He started to regional tournament series of the third power level, such as the Prairie Golf Tour and the NGA Hooters Tour, with seven victories. He then recorded the second- Tiered Nationwide Tour, where Johnson scored twice and qualified for the great PGA TOUR. In his first season (2004) he succeeded to the title at the BellSouth Classic and thanks to numerous top rankings, he reached the temporary rise among the top 50 in the World Golf Rankings. This ranking allowed Johnson to participate in the majors and the highly doped events on the World Golf Championships tournament series. He also was on the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2006. In April 2007, Johnson won the Masters in Augusta, one of the four major tournaments.
Johnson is married to his wife Kim since 2003 and has been with her three children, daughter Abby Jane and sons Will and Wyatt.
