Zöblen

Zöblen is a municipality with 225 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Reutte, Tyrol ( Austria ).

Location

The smallest municipality in the Tannheim Valley, which is drained by the Vils, forms a closely built-up pile village on a debris cone on the north side of the valley. On the north side are more farms in mountain meadows with agricultural use. The place is relieved of through traffic by a ring road. Located in the vicinity of Tannheim, a modest tourism could develop.

  • Originally from Zöblen Professor Franz Xaver Schedle founded with fellow students in 1864, the first CV joint on Austrian soil, the AV Austria Innsbruck. At its inhabited by relatives house reflects a plaque of it.
