Stanzach

Stan Zach is a municipality with 418 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Reutte, Tyrol ( Austria ).

Stan Zach is located at the confluence of Namloser valley in the Lech Valley. In 1294 the city was first mentioned originally. Still belongs to the municipality of the alpine village Fallerschein, which was converted into a residential complex. Other settlements are spreading even above the terrain edge of a terrace of Lech.

Stan Zach has about 120 households. The mountain of Stan Zach is the Nerenkopf, which is located south of the village.

Stan Zach is divided into several districts. In the southwest, beginning: "Behind Egg ", " Rain", " frog hole ", " village ", " Äule ", " Darr ", " sand ", " Rauth " and " Blockau ".

Like the rest of the Lech Valley was Stan Zach under the reign of the Hohenstaufen, before it came to Tyrol in 1266. The residents were previously repeatedly forced to emigrate to find work. One anecdote from Walter Ulbricht to have worked for a short time in a carpentry shop in Stan Zach.

The name Stan Zach come from " Stanzahe ", which loosely translated means " stay and accommodation ". The result is the name because Stan Zach an intermediate latch for woodworkers used to be, who did their work in the area. The oldest house of Stan Zach is the so-called " Älbele " as it is called by the locals. It has been passed on to generation since the time of generation and houses since 1930, the family Kärle.

Today Stan Zach is a tourist resort with a focus on summer and especially winter tourism.
