List of basilicas in Italy

The list of basilicas in Italy contains all the churches with the title Basilica in Italy, the Vatican and San Marino.

Basilica (Latin basilica ) is a title of honor which gives the Pope a significant Catholic Church. As Basilica maior also be referred the six highest-ranking Roman Catholic churches. Four of them are in Rome, two in Assisi, and there are four other papal basilicas in Italy, and two basilicas.
