1990–91 NOFV-Pokal

1990/91 the NOFV Cup was held as the last edition of the fdgb Cup of the German Democratic Republic. In the final game in Berlin's Friedrich -Ludwig -Jahn -Sportpark Hansa Rostock won on June 2, 1991 in front of 4,800 spectators with a 1-0 win over the Eisenhüttenstädter FC steel after five lost finals for the first time the title. Since Rostock same time was Master of the DDR Oberliga season 1990/91, the first all-German in the following season in the third-tier Oberliga Nordost An incoming Eisenhüttenstädter FC for the European Cup Winners' Cup 1991/92 qualified. For the same reason, the two finalists qualified for the first all-German DFB - Supercup 1991.
