2002 International Formula 3000 season
The Formula -3000 - 2002 season was the 18th season of Formula 3000. You began on March 30, 2002 in Interlagos and ended on 14 September 2002 at Monza. A total of twelve races were run. The champion driver Sebastien Bourdais won; the champion of the teams won the Arden Team Russia.

All drivers used Lola B02/50 chassis with Zytek Judd KV motors and tires from Avon.

Team standings
1 Tomáš Enge won the race in Budapest, but was later disqualified because he tested positive during doping test after the race on cannabis.
Antonio Pizzonia 2 was disqualified from his second place in Monza, as a rear wing element of its race car was mounted upside down.
3 Alexander Müller was disqualified from his sixth place in Monaco due to low weight.
