2011 Città di Como Challenger
The Torneo Internazionale Città di Como 2011 was the sixth edition of the tennis tournament in Como, Italy on Challenger level. It took place from August 27 to September 4, 2011 as part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and was held outdoors on clay court.
Winners in the individual became the eighth position Pablo Carreno Busta set, the position of the four classified Andreas Beck defeated in straight sets in the final. Last year's winner Robin Haase did not appear to defend their title. In doubles, the pair Federico del Bonis and Renzo Olivo won the final against purely Argentine Martín Alund and Facundo Argüello. Again, there was no attempt by the title defense by the last year's winner Frank Moser and David Skoch.
The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. Ahead there was some injury-related cancellations in the individual competition. Ádám Kellner, Gianluca Naso, Ivo Klec (all hip injuries ) and Martin Klizan ( bladder) could not attend. This advanced Desein, Roberto Marcora, Leonardo Church and Benjamin Balleret as a lucky loser into the main draw. Also, as a lucky loser Guillermo Durán could begin as a wildcard of the organizer was not used.
