2011 Savannah Challenger

The Savannah Challenger 2011 was the third edition of clay tennis court tournament in Savannah. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was held from April 30 to May 8, 2011.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 30 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was a total of 30,000 €.

In some of the American Wayne Odesnik, who moved only about a successful qualifying round in the main draw won. He sat down in the final against his set at position three compatriot Donald Young in straight sets by. This what the fourth Challenger singles title of his career and the first of his doping ban. Last year's winner Kei Nishikori of Japan did not appear to defend their title.

In the doubles competition, the top-seeded South African Rik De Voest consisting of pairing and Izak van der Merwe won against the U.S. Wilcard Sekou Bangoura owners and Jesse Witten in two sentences. This was De Voests 32 success in a doubles tournament of the Challenger category of his career and the first of the season. For van der Merwe, he was the ninth doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour and also the first of the season. It was her third joint title. The UK last year's winner Jamie Baker and James Ward both did not occur to defend their title.
