2011 Premier League Snooker

The Premier League Snooker 2011 was a snooker tournament, which was held in various locations in the UK from 18 August to 27 November 2011.

In the finals, Ronnie O'Sullivan defeated England from the Chinese Ding Junhui 7-1 and thus won his tenth title already in this tournament.

Format

The Premier League 2011 was an invitational tournament with no impact on the world rankings. The mode of the tournament was changed compared to previous years. Instead, as before, with seven it was first held in 2011 with ten players. There were a total of ten events during the Premier League in various locations throughout the UK. In each of these event four players were used. It was played in the Best of mode 5, ie, with three winning frames. Three matches were played at each event; First Player 1 vs. Player 2 and Player 3 Player 4 against, and finally the two winners against each other.

The top four players of this group stage then played in the final round to win the tournament in KO mode.
