2010 World Open (snooker)

The World Open 2010, a snooker tournament, which was held in Glasgow from 18 to 26 September 2010.

Neil Robertson was defending champion and won the tournament after a win in the final against Ronnie O'Sullivan, who had previously scored his tenth official maximum break in the game against Mark King in round 3.

Qualification

The rounds 1 and 2 took place from 21 to 23 August 2010 in Sheffield instead.

Round 1 denied all amateur players and the players 65-96 of the Snooker world rankings.

In Round 2, the players of the Snooker world rankings were added 33-64.

In Round 3, the players of the Snooker world rankings were added 1-32. Eleven games were held in Glasgow from 18 to 20 September 2010. The remaining games were held in Sheffield on August 24.
