2012 Welsh Open (snooker)
The 888真人Welsh Open 2012 was a snooker tournament of Snooker Main Tour, which was held in Newport from 13 to 19 February 2012.
The winner of the last two years and reigning world champion John Higgins of Scotland was defeated in the second round against the Chinese Ding Junhui. In the same round, Judd Trump was able to prevail in just 50 minutes with 4-1 against Stuart Bingham.
In the final, Ding Junhui sat with 9:6 through against Mark Selby.
