2012 China Open (snooker)

The Bank of Beijing China Open 2012 was a snooker tournament in the Main Tour Snooker Season 2011/12, which was held in Beijing from 26 March to 1 April 2012.

Defending champion was the Englishman Judd Trump, but the quarter-finals with 3:5 lost against Stephen Lee. The current number one Mark Selby retired after his first round victory clear (5-0 ) against the Chinese wildcard Li Hang players because of a neck injury from the tournament back to be fit for the upcoming World Cup.
