2nd Chess Olympiad
The 2nd Chess Olympiad took place from 21 July to 6 August 1928 in The Hague instead. It was organized by the FIDE and consisted of a men's competition. In addition still various attractions were held to publicize chess.
Background
It was played in the Binnenhof, the Dutch Parliament. It was attended by 17 teams with a total of 86 players who played in a round robin tournament against each other. Time controls were after an hour for the first 20 moves, then unknown.
