Adahuesca

Adahuesca ( Adauesca Aragonese ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Huesca of the Autonomous Community of Aragon. It is located in the comarca of Somontano de Barbastro, about 40 kilometers east of Huesca and 5.5 kilometers northeast of Abiego. Parts of the municipality is part of the natural park Parque natural de la sierra de Guara.

History

On May 4, 1288 the king Alfonso III handed. the place of Pedro Martínez de Luna. In 1381, as Adahuesca Crown Estate was sold King Peter IV the now defunct Castle Adahuesca Manuel de Entenza.
