Beranuy

Vera Cruz ( since 2011 Beranuy ) is a municipality in the province of Huesca of the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain. It is located in the predominantly Catalan Franja de Aragón in the valley of Isábena in the comarca Ribagorza.

History

The municipality was formed in 1966 from the former municipalities Beranuy and Calvera. It includes the following localities:

  • Ballabriga
  • Beranuy
  • Biasca de Obarra
  • Calvera (Huesca )
  • Castrocit
  • Las Herrerías ( de Calvera )
  • Moren
  • Pardinella
  • Raluy
