António Calvário
António Calvário da Paz ( born October 17, 1938 in Lourenço Marques ) is a Portuguese singer.
Born in Mozambique, he was eight years old when his family moved to Portugal. He became known as a singer and in 1960 had first singles released. He participated in the Festival da Canção 1964 part, won that and was thus the first contribution of Portugal to Euro Vision Song Contest. At the competition in 1964, he landed with the ballad oração along with three other participants then in last place.
