Athletics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's 4 × 100 metres relay
The 4-by- 100-meter relay race of men in the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 10 and 11 August 2012 at London's Olympic Stadium. 16 teams took part.
There were two heats. It qualified in each case the first three and the two fastest time scales for the final.
The directly qualified teams are light blue, highlighted the over time scales of qualified light green.

The British squadron came in 37.93 seconds on the 2nd place finish, but was disqualified.

With 36.84 seconds, the Jamaican relay is the first team, which remained under 37 seconds. The U.S. relay team made it into this competition the national record in both races to improve. They ran the current world record in the final with 37.04 seconds. The Canadian squadron reached with a time of 38.07 s in the bronze medal target. The team was disqualified because Connaughton went over the inner track mark just before switching to Warner.
