Bagnara Calabra

Bagnara Calabra is an Italian town in the province of Reggio Calabria in Calabria with 10,469 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Bagnara Calabra located 37 km northeast of Reggio Calabria on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The neighboring municipalities are Melicuccà, Eufemia d' Aspromonte, Scilla and Seminara. The older part of the town stands on a ridge of rock, the modern part of the town is right on the coast.

Attractions

In the Church of the Rosary Community there are paintings from the 15th century and a sculpture from the 16th century. In the area of the town are the caves of Rondini.
