Busovača

Busovača is a town and municipality in the canton of Central Bosnia in the center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city Busovača lies about 20 km south of Zenica and about 90 km north- west of the capital Sarajevo. The municipality has an area of 158 km ² and is made up of nine local communities.

Geographical Location

The southwestern part of Busovača is a heavily forested low mountain range with heights of over 1,200 meters. In the northeastern part of the township, in the river valleys Klokotnica, Ivančica, Kozica and Lašva are the most villages in the municipality. Here also the main road No. 5 runs Ilidža - Travnik.
