Bystrá (Pelhřimov District)

Bystrá ( German Bistra, also Bistry ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers south of Humpolec and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Bystrá located in the Křemešnická Highlands, part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village lies on Bach Bystrá, which flows south of the village in the Hejnický creek. To the north rises the Krasna vyhlídka (662 m), northeast of the Holý vrch (662 m) and in the south of Vlčí Mountains (608 m). Due to the northerly woodland Panský les leads the motorway D 1 At the southern end of the pond Bysterský fishpond lies.

Neighboring towns are Humpolec and Vilémov in the north, Plačkov, Dubi and KAMENICE in the northeast, Mikulášov and Krasoňov in the east, Ústí the southeast, Staré Bříště in the south, Brezina and Mladé Bříště the southwest, Komorovice in the west and Lipovky and Vystrkov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1226.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bystré formed in 1850 a part of the community Krasoňov in the District Commission Německý Brod. 1910 formed Bystré a municipality in the district Humpolec. Since 1923 is the local name Bystrá. In 1961 the parish was assigned to the Okres Pelhřimov. 1980, the annexation to Komorovice. Since 1990 Bystrá is self again.
