Cabrières-d'Aigues

Cabrières- d'Aigues is a commune with 852 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Vaucluse department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur.

Geography

Cabrières- d'Aigues is situated 10 kilometers north of the town of Pertuis. Neighboring municipalities are cucuron, Sannes, La Motte- d'Aigues, Saint -Martin -de- Castillon, Castellet and Auribeau.

The municipal area extends from 1125 meters high Mourre Nègre in the northwest, the highest peak of the Luberon Mountains, to the Etang de la Bonde. The pond is 30 acres with the largest water area of the Luberon Regional Park, to which the municipality belongs.
