Murs (Vaucluse)

Murs [my ʀs ː ] ( Murs en Provence ) is a commune with 416 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the Vaucluse department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. It belongs to the district of the canton of Apt and Gordes.

Geography

The village is situated on the slopes of the Monts de Vaucluse at the crossroads of the roads from Gordes to Sault and Venasque and Apt. The village is in an average height of 500 m above sea level.

Murs is part of the Regional Natural Park of Luberon and is located 8 km from Gordes and 17 km from Apt.
