Campo Ligure
Campo Ligure ( Ligurian Campo, in the local dialect Campu ) is a municipality with 3037 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Genoa.
Geography
The municipality is located on the banks of the river Stura at a distance of 37 kilometers from the Ligurian capital is Genoa. The municipal boundaries lie in the west at Beigua Park and in the east on the park boundaries of the Parco delle Capanne di Marcarolo. Together with three other local forms Campo Ligure the mountain community Valli Stura e Orba.
According to the Italian classification with respect to seismic activity Campo Ligure Zone 4 has been assigned. This means that in the region virtually no earthquakes occur.
Campo Ligure is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
