Savignone

Savignone is a municipality in the province of Genoa with 3216 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Location

The municipality is located in the valley of the river Scrivia at a distance of 34 kilometers to the Ligurian capital is Genoa.

Together with nine other municipalities forms Savignone the Alta Valle Scrivia. The territory of the municipality is part of the Parco naturale regional Antola (Regional Natural Park Antola ).

According to the Italian classifications for seismic activity Savignone Zone 4 has been assigned. This means that the municipality is in a seismically inert zone.
