Ceranesi

Ceranesi ( Ligurian Çeranexi o Çeànexi ) is a municipality in the province of Genoa with 3965 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

The municipality is located in the upper Val Polcevera and forms part of the Comunità Montana Alta Val Polcevera, whose headquarters is located in Ceranesi.

The most significant peaks in the territory of the municipality are the Monte Foscalio ( 988 meters), Mount Seiéu ( 958 meters), Mount Orditano (939 meters) and Mount Figogna (804 meters ) at its highest point, the Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia is. Ceranesi is connected to the Genoese Pegli about the lying in 568 meters pass Lencisa.

The main watercourse of the municipality is the Bach Verde tributaries San Martino, Torbi, Burba, Molinassi and Lischeo.
