Casella
Casella ( Casella Ligurian ) is a municipality with 3234 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Genoa.
Geography
The village is located in a plane of the river Scrivia in the Ligurian Apennines. From the Ligurian capital Genoa Casella is about 30 kilometers away and is connected to it by a narrow gauge railway. This romantic little di Casella meanders in high position on the slopes of the valleys Valbisagno, Valpolcevera and Scrivia along and offers the passenger a unique panorama of the city of Genoa and the Apennines.
Casella is part of the Alta Valle Scrivia.
According to the Italian classification with respect to seismic activity Casella Zone 4 has been assigned. This means that the municipality is in a seismic zone inconspicuous.
