Canton of Crécy-en-Ponthieu

The Canton of Crécy -en- Ponthieu is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Abbeville, in the department of the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Crécy -en- Ponthieu. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1982 Régis Lécuyer (formerly DVD and UMP, now NC).

Geography

The Canton of Crécy -en- Ponthieu is 22 559 ha ( 225.59 km ²) in size and has (1999), 5873 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 26 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 61 m high, between 7 m and 142 m in Dominois in Domléger - Long Villers.
