Dozza

Dozza is a town with 6469 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Bologna.

The neighboring municipalities are Casalfiumanese, Castel Guelfo di Bologna, Castel San Pietro Terme and Imola.

Attractions

Dozza is world famous for its del Muro Dipinto Biennale, an event lasting works of art fit in the well-known domestic and foreign artists on the walls of houses in this small town. Another attraction is the Sforza, the castle of the Sforza, which houses the Weincafè the Emilia -Romagna region. Also worth seeing is the parish church where the painting is to mention Madonna col Bambino fra i santi Giovanni Battista e Margherita ( 1492) by Marco Palmezzano. The Town Hall is located in the medieval village of Dozza, but the biggest residential and industrial community is Toscanella.
